My story

HI! I'm grateful for the opportunity to live and work in Poland, in this beautiful, complex country, with its tragic history, interesting traditions, and beautiful people, who can be described as creative, persevering, and hospitable.

Although I have a BS degree in Horticulture from Washington State Univ., I'm working more now with the "growing of people" in the most important area of life: the spiritual, deepening one's personal relationship with God their Creator through Jesus Christ His Son.

I studied the Polish language through the Jagiellonian University in Krakow for two years from 1988-1990, and since 1992 have been working with Youth With A Mission in Poland. Most of my time has been spent involved with discipleship and missions mobilization endeavors, such as the Discipleship Training School program. I enjoy working alongside Poles in summer mission trips to Russia. Poles have an important part to play in missions - during one specific trip God used us instrumentally in planting a church in the Perm region of Russia!

The Lord has been opening doors to minister to children and youth, both in Poland and in Russia. It's fun and fantastic to watch their little hearts begin to capture the idea of the God who loves them and has plans of good for their lives.
